In the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa ’s philatelic collection, held in Wellington , there are 42 different Queen Victoria die II stamp duty colour trials hand stamped SPECIMEN with the denomination in red manuscript. The page is headed “Proposed numbers and values of denominations showing the colour of each to be brought into use on present stocks becoming exhausted”

Their denominations range from 1d to £50.
