Mortgagee's Indemnity Fee

The Mortgagee’s Indemnity fee created a fund that covered a worker’s damages for which the employer was liable, which was held as priority over all existing and later mortgages. The fee was fixed at 1/- and payable on all mortgages registered after 23 November 1927
