Lands & Deeds

The STAMP ACT of 1875 gave authority for the issue of stamps inscribed Lands & Deeds. These stamps were for duties and fees payable to the Registrar of Deeds, or the District LandRegistrar. These stamps were discontinued in 1881 however continued to be used until stocks were exhausted.
