As the 1944, 1945 and 1946 sets are identical in values and colours except for the year of overprint, I decided to save a spot of time and combine these 3 sets into 1 listing. Catalogue values and printing varieties vary slightly (The only significant difference of note is the 1944 4d Orange) however not sufficiantly enough to justify lising the 3 sets separately.
If separate identification is needed between the stamps for description on sales/auction catalogues, use the whole numbers for the 1944 set, and “a” for the 1945 set, and “b” for the 1946 set. (example – NZR0211201 = 1d Grey 1944, NZR0211201a = 1945, NZR0211201b = 1946)
